What I've Been Up To

I know I haven't been posting as frequently as I usually do, so I thought my loyal readers deserved to know what I have been up to!

Last week I was in charge of ALL 80 of these girls!   My friend Angie and I run a dance camp every summer in our hometown.  We started in college to make some extra money and we just can't quit.  We have WAY too much fun and the dancers come back year, after year, after year....after year.  We dance from 9-4:30 in a non-air conditioned gym and put on a performance for the parents on the last evening.  Needless to say, by the time I got home each evening, I was EXHAUSTED.  Do you forgive me for my lack of blogging now? :)

This is Angie and I, and my sista Elena who helps us out, too.  The t-shirts say "Keep Calm and Dance On" which proved to be an important saying to remember last week! :)

And THIS week I'm going to try and do a little better at posting, but I can't promise much.

This is where I am spending my week:

I am on the beach with my husband's family in Florida.  Much deserved after last week!  I am already feeling more relaxed!

Speaking of the beach, have you checked out Schoolgirl Style's new ocean theme?  I. AM. OBSESSED.  I was pretty set on owls, but Melanie definitely had me questioning my decision to stick with the same theme after coming out with this adorable masterpiece.  Since I'm not using it, someone better!

Have a relaxing week!  Mine sure will be!

Find me on Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram.

  3. Sorry I wasn't around to help out last week. I missed being able to watch the kids dance. Always enjoy having Dance Camp, and watching everyone.
