This Way to San Jose!

I'm baaaaack from San Jose!  Did you miss me?  Well, I missed YOU!   I can't wait to tell you ALL about my amazing adventures with these fabulous ladies!

Molly 1, Molly 2 and me in Napa (The Mollys are also teachers AND fashionistas, so needless to say, I have so much fun hanging out with these two!)

Molly 2 and I left Omaha bright and early on Monday morning and arrived in California in the early evening.  Molly 1 met us at the airport (she had already been there for 5 days) and we headed to the grocery story to load up on food for the week.  We explored the house and enjoyed some tacos and Bachelor viewing in the poolhouse that evening before hitting the hay.

We woke up on Tuesday, ready to take on San Francisco!  The Mollys were fantastic tour guides, showing me (a first timer) every hot spot in the city.  We had a nice lunch in Sausalito, checked out the Painted Ladies (A.K.A. the 'Full House' houses), experienced the sights and sounds of 'America's Cup' (an international sailing competition held in San Fran this year!) and explored the Pier.

Our day in San Fran gave us '90s kids a serious case of Full House Fever, so we spent our evening catching up with DJ, Stephanie, Michelle and the gang on Hulu.  Molly 1 also found this video online, and I would highly recommend viewing it if you're a Jesse and The Rippers fan!  "Have mercy!"

We spent our Wednesday in Napa, and I couldn't help but think how blessed we are as teachers to have (well-deserved) time off in the summer to experience all life has to offer!  We ate lunch at The Rutherford Grill (best cheeseburger of my entire life!), and explored three gorgeous wineries before checking out the Napa outlets on the way home.

Our final full day of vacation was spent exploring San Jose.  We began with a morning walk (Starbucks in hand) to check out all of the adorable homes in the neighborhood.

We spent our afternoon poolside and then headed out to explore the local shopping.

My day was made with a trip to the Kate Spade store.  No purchases were made, but I got some GREAT ideas for my Christmas list (ahem, ahem Logan)

Some outdoor patio inspiration from another favorite store, Crate & Barrel...

I never knew I needed a wrapping station, but I think I totally do now!  Thanks, C & B!

We celebrated a fabulous trip with a fancy dinner in Los Gatos and headed home early the next day.  Now, back to reality (aka SCHOOL)

Stop back on Tuesday and Thursday for more fun from me!  And...next week I am hosting "Back to School Fashion Week" all week right here!

Have a wonderful week, fashionistas!  See you soon!
