It's FRIDAY, people! Who's excited?!? Pretty sure I've been ready for the weekend since last weekend. In honor of this fantastic fall Friday, I am linking up with Doodle Bugs for 'Five on Friday.' Enjoy! :)
1. I made these super easy and deliciously yummy S'mores bars last night when we hosted our bible study group at our house. They were definitely a hit! Find the recipe here courtesy of Chef in Training.
2. When I saw one of my favorite bloggers wearing this LOFT striped tee with a leopard scarf, I was instantly inspired. I had just picked up the same fall top from LOFT and had my own leopard scarf in my closet, and I would have never thought to pair them together! Skinny black pants and tall leather boots completed the ensemble. Check out Shay's look here.
3. Speaking of LOFT, don't miss out on the 25% off promotion just for teachers this weekend! So much cuteness all in one stop!
4. Thanks to 'Smitten with First', I have a cute craftivity planned to review multiplication and division fact families this week. What a fun fall idea!
5. Lucy and Rosie (our new rescue pup) are getting along great! I just couldn't resist snapping a few pics this week of these adorable furballs!
That's all for me! Have a WONDERFUL weekend, fashionistas!
Find me on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Blog Lovin'.
Cute outfit! I LOVE Loft! {I found you on Five for Friday BTW...}
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of skinny pants do you have? I ask b/c I'm not allowed to wear jeans, and I always feel that my skinny jeans are too revealing of the 'junk in the trunk' to wear around middle schoolers. So I'm looking out for a pair that is skinny but still professional!

Glad you stopped by, Kristin! I'll have to head over to your blog next! Mine are a few years old from Gap and I LOVE them! I wear them at least twice a week. They are ankle length (capris on me) so they work in the fall with flats and the fall and winter with boots. I know LOFT has a few pairs of skinny dress pants right now, and I just bought a couple of "skinny mini" khakis from Gap in green and navy. You're right, a lot of them are pretty tight in the rear so I try to wear a longer top with mine, even though they still have pockets and probably could be worn with shorter blouses.
DeleteThanks for replying {and visiting me!}. I'll have to check the GAP. LOFT pants never fit me for some reason ... I love the idea of ankle length too - what a duh moment! :)
DeleteI'm following you now so can't wait to see what other great combos you come up with!

Never would have thought to pair a striped shirt with my leopard print scarf. This is why I need to follow your blog now! I am fashion challenged! Thank goodness for Five for Friday, who knew it would help me with my wardrobe too!
