My two favorite ladies to shop with are my mom and sister. I do love shopping with my friends, but no one can be quite as honest with you as family when you're making life or death shopping decisions! Plus, my mom and I have very similar style, and the little sister keeps me up to date with what's hip and happenin' with the youth of today. :) So, today you're invited to come along on a typical summer shopping trip with my favorite ladies! Enjoy!
We started off our day with a little trip to Bed, Bath and Beyond to pick up a wedding gift. Well, I don't know about you, but I NEVER leave that store with just a gift for the couple-to-be. I always end up finding
a gift many gifts for myself as well! Won't this chevron lamp look SUPER cute in my owl themed classroom? It's REALLY a gift for my new fourth graders, right?
Next stop: Ann Taylor (one of my top 5 favorite stores!)
We walked in and guess what?? SALE! Woooo hooo!
I didn't even know I needed a new pencil skirt until I saw a sales rack FULL of the cutest patterns I have ever seen!
So which one did I decide to take home with me: white lace, polka dot, white floral or black floral? You'll have to stop back tomorrow to find out!
My mom also found some pretty cute stuff at Ann Taylor...
Then it was time for a break, so we headed over to Elena's favorite stop for grub: Panchero's. Not my fave, but this girl is OBSESSED with their cheese quesadillas. I do love the chips and queso or guac for a shopping day snack.
And sometimes we drink a little too much diet coke to wash down the quesadillas and chips, so we need to take a little potty break at Elena's favorite store: Scheel's.
Elena is the expert on all things sporty, so I always take her advice when it comes to work out clothes. She highly recommends this dry fit Nike cap, cute polka dot work-out top and North Face lumbar pack.
As we were about to leave Scheel's, look what these two discovered: the cutest Sperry's in the whole world! Now the question is, who gets them? Mom or daughter? Since they couldn't decide, maybe I'll just help them out and get them for ME instead! :)
Last stop: The Apple Store. I'm not really a techie, so I'm never too excited to visit...until TODAY! Look what my hip sister found!!! This Michael Kors wallet clutch is going on both of our Christmas lists ASAP (different colors of course)!
Whew! What a successful day! I hope you enjoyed shopping with us! Check back tomorrow to see which pencil skirt made its way into my closet!
