August Pin-Spired

Thanks for all of the anniversary wishes!  Logan and I had a wonderful time celebrating two years of wedded bliss with a nice dinner out, (steak for him, pasta for me) followed by cake and wedding video viewing at our place. 

 

Since Logan proposed with a wedding cake and we had the same cake at our wedding, we decided it would be our little anniversary tradition to order a cake from our same cake lady every year.   I keep telling myself I'll work off all of these wedding cake calories once the stress of school starts :) 

Now, for today's post...

 

That's right, fashionistas!  I'm getting Pin-Spired again with some of my favorite blogger ladies, Shay, Sheaffer and Mel.

It's officially August 1st and whether I want it to or not, the fashionista part of my brain starts thinking about fall clothes as soon as the calendar flips to August.   

Here is today's fall Pin-Spiration:

 I love this look from the Atlantic Pacific blog because I, too, love to wear brights in the fall/winter, AND pink and turquoise happen to be two of my favorite colors!  

After seeing this adorable pin, I headed to my closet and grabbed my hot pink LOFT button down that my mother decided she didn't want anymore (bet you're sad now, Mom!), a turquoise scarf I haven't worn in ages, my pink sequinned Sperry's, and a few cute bangles to polish the look.  Lucy was also feeling Pin-Spired, so she picked out a pink and white chevron bow to wear this week.

 I can't wait to wear this cute ensemble on cool fall weekends!
