With highs in the 70's today here in Nebraska, I was feeling extra springy while getting ready for school today! I just love the first nice weather days of the new season, especially after the winter we have had! Everyone is in a great mood, the kiddos can finally get outside, and the clothing choices are lighter and brighter!
Today's look:
Skirt: LOFT (no longer available)
Gingham Button-Down: JCrew Factory (available here)
Yellow flower necklace: JCrew Factory (available here)
Since I'm in such a "springy" mood today, I wanted to share my top warm-weather picks from some of my favorite stores, perfect for Spring Break, or sunny days like today!
2. Strawberry chino shorts: JCrew Factory
Add a simple tee, or dress them up with a woven and wedges
3. Navy drapey dress: Gap
I think the JCrew Factory yellow flower necklace would be super cute with this!
4. Rose maxi dress: Gap
I would add a brightly colored belt and long cardigan
5. Chambray shorts: LOFT
Cute with an embellished tee, or light sweater like this one
6. Scallop hem skirt: LOFT
The perfect winter to spring transitional piece...tights now, bare legs later!
Happy shopping, fashionistas!

I can't sign off without sharing a few pics from the puppies' birthday celebrations this past week! Yes, I'm a crazy dog lady :-)
Lucy got to visit school on Thursday to drop off birthday treats for my class! They love her, and she LOVES the attention! Rosie isn't quite as comfortable around kids, so she stayed at home.
A few more snapshots of these spoiled girls... Lucy in her birthday hat looking oh so cute, and Rosie surrounded by her presents!
Have a great week!
Your dogs are so cute!!! :) And I love the yellow skirt!!! :) Hope youre having a good weekend!

First off, love your blog and your outfit here! Is that a black and white gingham shirt or blue? And where are your shoes from? Happy to have found your blog!!
ReplyDeleteSo happy you found me! I will have to go check yours out next! :-) The gingham shirt is navy blue checked from JCrew Factory, and the flats are super old from LOFT. I wear them ALL the time! Hoping they'll come out with a new version soon, as mine are getting pretty beat up!
